A duck named Sally. I think I died laughing right around here, and the domestic life of these two are just adorable. Scorpius has the most awesome narrative voice ever, especially his description of swear words.

Well that was exceedingly random and very amusing. I liked how you put across Scorpius' viewpoint, capturing his childlike tone very well, and then just the plot in general and all the silly things that happened, such as finding the duck in the chimney - yay, ducks!

This is a perfect one shot. Apparently innocent, but with slight hints on whats going on in the parents world. Very sweet and charming. I like the way, Scorpius is making a comment (e.g. 'they're arguing a lot in their bedroom'), which can be interpreted in an innocent as well as in a delicate way. :)
