I loved this chapter. The blood drinking scene was so beautifully done. They way you described Kain and Ruka's thoughts and their physical reactions was lovely. And the poor boy's torment: to have almost everything he ever wanted. Everything but Ruka's heart that is.

It was wonderful the first time I read it over Christmas break and even better now that I've had a chance to re read it.

Keep writing, please.

Wow! I'm very impressed that Kain managed to keep control of himself. A lesser man would probably have jumped Ruka. I know I probably would. They just don't make them like him anymore. This is definitely a new side for Ruka, a teasing sensual side. She enjoyed how much power she had over Kain. Looking forward to the next update.

This is my favorite chapter for sure. Kain's struggle was very well-displayed, you showed that he really is a gentleman for he had refused his dearest wish. Ruka's embarrassment was also very well-written, you kept both of them in character and not even one of them strayed out.

You have improved your style of writing and fixed it to match the two vampires' reactions. I like your way of writing, it's very true and real.

I think you displayed Akatsuki's inner struggle very well. Ruka was absolutely true to character as well.

I always loved the two characters, but I love them even more now after reading this chapter.
