Awww, I loved it! Personally, I agree that Laguna didn't know about Squall until he met up with Ellone in space. Cu he just doesn't strike me as the type to send his son off to an orphanage.

Hmn. Maybe it's just me being my stupid nit-picky self, but I thought they were both a bit out of character. I always thought Laguna would be a bit more nervous and Squall would be kind of inwardly angry and outwardly cold before acceptance.
