And I really, really love how you've integrated excerpts from the book. And now I realise how much attention to detail you've paid to canon and I really commend you on that. Everything just flows so smoothly and fits together perfectly. And I like the way you've introduced all these new characters. The conversation between the Griffindor girls is great too.

Wow I love this story, I'm very surprised more people haven't read it. Your characterization is spot on, and very believable too, each character has good reasons for their actions, especially Snape. For one of Rowlings more complex characters I'm very impressed in how you've written him, his childhood is so sad but makes perfect sense as to his behavior and actions in the future. Can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I don't usually look at Harry Potter fanfics but I'm fond of this one. You're doing a great job on expanding on Severus and Lily's relationship. I've grown quite fond of that pairing since The Deathly Hallows and I think it's a shame that Severus loses Lily to James and later to Voldemort. I've grown to like and respect Severus much more since reading the last book because although he's nasty and unfair to people he dislikes, he's also extremely brave, has tremendous strength of character and never stopped loving Lily. Listen to me I'm growing sentimental! Anyway I'm glad your writing this story.

I like the way you've written about Petunia and her cousins; so shallow and vain. The fact that they're reading through magazines... It just shows the contrast between the world we daydream about and reality.

I also think it's clever of you to make the prime reason Tobias Snape loathed and abused his family was because of his jealousy. It's really interesting how he even tried to perform magic himself!

I find it hilarious trying to imagine Severus attempting to play football! And the paper boat thing is so cute!

Also, the introduction of the dark arts is making your fanfic more and more interesing. You're a really good writer!
