Excellent read Kerchan- totally worth reading, as well as mentally invigorating on the emotions of the heart. The ending with Elder Spock was a pleasant twist that put a nice smile on my fave.

This was a fantastically written story :) I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, and I really loved how you portrayed Jim! He was seriously a cocky bastard, just as shown in the movie, and I loved how you captured that.

I do have one question though. At the end, it felt a bit vague, but I was getting the impression that 'Elder Spock' was actually 'Mr. Spock' from way into the future, after his Jim had died. I'm probably wrong, but your mentioning of the old communications-device seemed like too much of a coincidence to pass off.

In any case, I loved how you played everything off; and Seriously. The anomaly being a ship that jumps between alternate universes? Did NOT see that coming...at ALL. I love you for that I really do. I very rarely read fanfics that have twists which I don't see coming :)

Wow, this story was absolutely amazing. I could definitely feel the emotions and struggles that the characters felt. The whole experience was one emotional roller. I liked the way you ended the story, although I can't help but feel a little sad and disappointed for Elder Spock. It appears that Elder Spock just can't seem to get a break. Poor guy.

ohmygosh! If a story has ever made me go on an emotional rollorcoster its this story. GREAT JOB! Amazing plot, aginizing cliffhangers,and wonderful romance; evry thing i look forword to in a story. So once again great job!

Waait a second... When I read the ending about Spock Prime getting bonded to Kirk and thanking Jim...

Does that mean Spock Prime went to the dimension he is currently in sometime in his past, where he was the "Mr. Spock," and then went back to his own timeline and lived how he wanted, then Kirk died and he got sent back into the past universe, which turned out to be the same universe he was transported to in his past, where he met younger Kirk and Spock and went through the whole ordeal? If that IS what happened, doesn't that mean the two universes are destined to repeat over and over again since Jim affected James which means James and Mr. Spock's lives were changed, and Mr. Spock gets sucked into a black hole where he becomes Spock prime, and watches his younger self go through everything he went though, knowing that his younger self in the other dimension will be him when he grows up?

I ALWAYS F'ING CRY whenever I think of Spock Prime and Kirk Prime together. ;O; so cute and so sad. But the story was wonderful, it left me guessing at the end of every chapter, I couldn't put the laptop down! xD Loved it so much!

Particularly liked the attention to detail such as the stars slowly passing by, the communicator, and the reference to uhura :)

okay, I had to stop here an go check the TOS timeline, and I gota say I have no idea what this worrying could possibly be refering to, as far as I see nothing exciting happened in 2266:

2264 : james is promoted to captain

2265-2270 : 5yr mission and formation of our fav crew

2266 : /wiki/2266

2267 : pretty much all of the exciting missions

Their carees/lives are so different at this point I don't think anything but talking about planet coordinates and natives would be of any relevance...*so confused*

Very nice! I loved the ending but just one point of clarification... Elder Spock is actually from a third alternate dimension right? NOt just the future of Older Jim's dimension... Right?
