It would have been interesting to see what you’d come up with for that. But I don’t blame him (nor you) for stopping.

“"The Potters deserve some answers, Sirius. I would think you would understand better than anyone."”

*shrugs* I agree with Dumbledore here. ESPECIALLY since Voldy does know now.

“"I'm staying," Aunt Alice said stubbornly. "I'm Orion's godmother, Sirius. I am also one of the few who was by your side from the start. If this doesn't go well, you will need me to put the Potters in their place."”

Hahahahaha Oh man, that is perfect. I always thought of Neville’s mother being a bit more mm…demanding ;)

Mrs. Potter was on her feet. "No!" she exclaimed. "You swore it was Hayden! You gave us your word—"”

Oh my gosh! Oh my goodness! So they kept the one who was “stronger” just because they thought he was the one who survived?

“"—who? You?" Hayden interrupted, jumping to his feet. "You weren't protecting me, Rose or even Har—Orion! I asked you so many times why I could see through Orion's eyes! I begged for answers and you—you lied!"
"We didn't lie, Hayden," Mr. Potter said firmly.”

At this point, the omission of info THAT big is so close to lying that it might as well be called that.

“The Ministry would jump at the chance to have the-boy-who-lived in their pocket assuring the public that everything was under control. The truth was that all control had gone out the window.”

That’s for damn sure.

“He had never considered that the answers he had so desperately wanted would be ones that he would never want to hear.”

It happens all too often :
And even worse, it’s too late to unheard them now.

And it’s a good constant, too!

I love that. Okay, maybe love is a bit strong of a word, but I like that a lot.

Yeah, doesn’t surprise me at all. I love Viktor.
It wouldn’t even surprise me if he walked over there to begin with.

:( I hate that he’s thinking that way. Even worse, I hate that it’s true.

And he will let them do just that, I know it. But I also know that he won’t accept the Potters, and that Hayden & Rose will back him with that decision.

Great chapter. I really love this series. I don't see how the secret behind Orion's adoption will remain secret for much longer. I hope the things with the Potter Family straighten out our the course of the rest of the series. I can't wait to find out who gave Harry the adoption potion to create Orion.

Great story and excellent wrap-up! I thought the way Orion handled the Potters was very understandable. Dumbledore seems to have said less at the leaving feast about Orion's involvement than Orion thought he would.
