Cute story

Well done, another good chapter. I particularly liked getting a little more insight into Harry's views on families - I've always thought he behaves a little immaturely but it makes sense that he is making up for lost time. It's a very sweet way of looking at it, and it made me really happy that having Snape is making up for his rubbish childhood. Lol at Draco, too. Have a great xmas :)

Hey! I've read your Remembering Me story and I loved it. I really liked the original idea you had about Harry losing his memory. I haven't read any fanfictions like that - at least not in that time line, and I don't even remember if I read them or not. XD

Anyway, I'm really liking the sequel right now. I can't wait to read what you write next and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2010!

I wonder if there will be a repeat of the Quitage accident where Harry's arm is broken. I have a feeling if Lockhart tries what he did in the book Hogwarts will be looking for another DADA teach sooner than expected. he he he

As for the outing, in and out my foot. Snape should know by now that Harry is a magnet for trouble even if he doesn't mean it.

Hey, brilliant chapter :-) Your strict Snape is great! I like the scene with Draco, it's funny. And Harry eavesdropping, thats typical Harry!
Harry thinking of Snape as his Dad is so cute. I wonder, if Snape finds out more about Harrys life with the Dursleys :-) I look forward for their trip to Hogsmeade, hihihi !

Oh Truckles you had me worried when I first saw the title of this chapter...I was truly hoping beyond hope that this wonderful story wouldn't turn out to be another of those Snape is Draco's godfather fics. Can you tell...I really, really hate those fics because it just ** me off that as soon as Snape and Harry become father and son, here comes Draco needing his godfather too. So yes I know I'm rambling, but I'm relieved that Severus remains only Draco's Head of House and thus Harry doesn't have to compete with Draco for his guardian's affection. Harry deserves his guardian to himself! OK, rant over lol.

Harry was too cute when trying to make Draco understand that he lives with Snape now by saying ‘I might go and do my homework in MY bedroom and order some strawberry ice cream to boot'. I loved that part...quite funny.

And I laughed my arse off during Snape's monologue to Lockhart concerning Harry's fame...oh how I hate that fake and idiotic man and it's good Harry has someone to stick up for him now.

Poor Harry not wanting to get too big to sit with Snape and read together in his chair. Very sweet moments between the two and I hope they continue for a while yet. Loved the idea with the spelling list...as much as it annoys me and my hubby having to go over three different spelling lists every week with our three boys, it pays off tremendously in the end :-)
Also, it was so funny when I was reading this chapter because I'm currently reading CoS to my middle son who's 7 years old and when I suggested he start reading some of the paragraphs too he also pitched a tantrum lol.

Anyway, too long a review I know but wonderful chapter and I can't wait for your next update and the promised trip to Hogsmeade.

Hi Truckles... Great chapter. Nice to see the family time that has evolved for the new family unit. I know it is inherent in his actions, and I know that Harry is almost deliriously happy, but it would be nice to hear Snape actually express his feelings for his ward again... like he did back at their house. He never drops his strict disciplinarian persona. And no, I don't want Sev to turn into a teddy-bear, just go a bit gooey for all of a minute for some reason. It was brilliant to see him give Lockhart what for and to hear him say, 'he is a child, my child'! I suppose it will happen when the dangers running rampant within the castle become apparent and Harry is in the thick of things again.

Looking forward to more.
