This is absolutely fabulous! I could see this actually happening, like, inside my head. The part with Vaughn and the picture and Syd understanding what it meant to him gave me chills. When you said he, like, choked on his words, it was almost as if i was him, I felt that emotion, that's what a good writer does, you make your reader's feel the charachter's arm thing was really sweet. Keep it up, that is so awesome.
