I would love to see this concept developed further. Not only the aspect of Daria in Highland, but also the Daria on her own aspect as well. It's hard to find good day to day Daria fanfics as they too often turn into sci-fi, horror, noir, or angst-without-mercy ("Everything is terrible and no one will ever be happy again, The End.") stock fiction. My one concern is that you don't have larger plan. I would recommend decideding on where you would like the fic to end and aim for that. Will Daria rise above this hardship to become a famous writer? Will she get sucked into the legal system when Todd comes to the attention of law enforement (i.e. he stashes drugs at B&B's house and they get raided while she's living there, etc.). Things like that are where readers like myself get excited. I want to see how you think Daria would react to various situations and I'd hope you pursue interesting senarios like that in the course of this fic.
