Oh my poor Christian... that fic was completely gorgeous, but defnitely very sad, despite the sort of happy ending. I loved the start - his longing, his acceptance that he couldn't open his eyes, but the fact that it was almost enough just to feel her because her image was forever imprinted on his brain. That was very gorgeous. Brought tears to my eye... Anyway, the whole thing was great, and I wish you'd continue!
