ElvishKiwis Venerated Ancestor 2009-10-08 . chapter 1It does not have the same 'voice of Sherlock' that most of your other writing does, but I love it all the same.
I think it is because it is rather bad omen-ish and irrational, and I don't think Holmes would really consider premonitions like that. It is also a bit sentimental which I think, from your previous pieces, he would be rather scathing about.
Having said that it is beautiful intense poetry:
"Oh loyal companion
Can you see my heart tremble
Can you see the trepidation with which I look
Down into the swirling waterfall’s chasm..."
"Friend, this death would be so much easier to bear
If I did not have to listen to your tear-laden voice
As you call my name."
Is this about the story where he fakes his own death? What is the name of that particular episode? I want to read it now!
