I just found this story today and I managed to read the entire portion you've written in one sitting. It's a great story. Very well thought out. It has two of my favorite things--Draco/Harry and Severitus! I'm really enjoying reading it so far. I was also wondering--has Draco ever seen Harry without his glamour? If he hasn't, I'm sure he'd be suprised. I'm really hoping that Harry at least somewhat accepts Severus as his father. I will be adding this story to my favorites and I'm definatly hoping for a speedy update!

this scene when snape comes in and harry apologizes was written beautifully. all of a sudden i can really see how snape could be his father. very well done :)

Ok, I was all for this fic until you got here. This whole "I'm going to trust Snape because Draco says I should, despite the fact that both Snape AND Draco violated my privacy for no reason than to satisfy their own curiosity" thing makes me sick to my stomach. Harry's mind was VIOLATED, and all Snape and Draco can do is blame Harry for the whole situation, as if they are both innocent of wrongdoing. Draco and Snape both only want to insert themselves into Harry's life because they see him as some sort of possession that 'belongs' to them, despite how up until VERY recently they both hated Harry and would have been happy to see him fall out of exsistence. And Snape has no right to try to guilt Dumbledore -- the man was being honest with Harry (which he deserves), and saw no reason to give him false hope. I don't see that as a crime -- it's not like he pulled a Snape and mind-raped Harry to get what he wanted. He just told the kid the truth. Even if Dumbledore did it in part to ease his own conscience, at least what he said was the TRUTH, and not just a bunch of malicious lies and erroneous observations designed to make war on a dead man! The things Snape has done to Harry all these years (and CONTINUES to do) have been far worse than what Dumbledore did, yet Snape expects for Harry to be understanding and forgiving of him when Snape wouldn't even consider doing the same where Dumbledore is concerned. At least Dumbledore never actively abused Harry (like Snape) or wished him hunted like an animal by Voldemort (like Draco).

Oh, interesting idea. I really like the way you handle Draco and Harry becoming allies--I can't identify what was unique about it, but there was something more adult and complex than what I see in most stories. thanks for the read

You are SO good at making things more "realistic"! I can actually see your events happening as if they were canon and not AU. You have a real knack for being given something as great as the HP characters and making them yours without showing disrespect for the original author.
