Wow! That was amazing! Most of the time I hear of "thousand paper cranes" I remember the tragic story of Sadako. but you made it into a wish of love that bound the characters together. That idea alone caught me. Especially as they come back later. I loved the entire story, and now, I'm almost crying. It was so wonderful!

I really liked how you created the characters in your own world. Kagome, selfless girl, works with sick children, even of it breaks her heart at times (like Kagome's love for Inuyasha at first). Sesshomaru is solemn but a very keen observer, with a reservoir of feelings. Inuyasha is blunt but kind and worrying in his own way. I also like the university love with Kouga, reckless fun. That fits him.

I have two favorite parts. One is the time you spent fleshing out the brother's relationship. I liked the fights, but it was special how you pointed out their similar tastes, with red, nonetheless.

Then, romantically, Sesshomaru dropping the cranes by her, finally draping a cord around her neck and telling her his feelings. I think it's really special how Kagome chased after him in the beginning then he courts her afterward. Also, he comes to her in the final moment.

I know this is long, but it's a story that deserves more than a passing comment. For me, the best part, past the characters' personalities, was the way you told the story. You can see the growth inside her.

Now, I need to take the time to read the rest. One more today.
