You struck a perfect balance with the angst and action and the end was hard hitting and powerful with the line "We always save each other," especially considering what we know now.

This is good! I like the premise, and you're right: creeks are nasty little buggers. I've wondered before how Dean would react if he lost Sam again after the deal (or very nearly, like you've done here). Not well, obviously, but it was something I would have liked to have them explore. Tough on the actors, but what can you do?
