It's also great you kept everything open in the end, so when the movie finally comes, maybe I can just pretend this really happened in between. ^^

And what, may I ask, is wrong with an entire season of Rodney centric whump stories? I was totally thinking of Aladdin earlier when the room started to shake, but then thought I was just weird. Hehe, would not be the first time I was called weird. I can totally see why Rodney would be worried about the team being split-up if Atlantis stayed on Earth, but the IOA would really be stupid to take him away - nobody knows that city as well as he does. (or can fix it in 10 seconds either) Loved seeing Rodney break down a little and admit his fears for once, it was a very real moment there. I think it helps to show just how far Rodney has come since we first saw him in SG1. *sigh*, I love these stories... :)

Nice story! Bit reckless of Rodney, but then he does at times have a tendancy to get so focused on one thing that he forgets everything else (such as all the other equipment, which could have had the potential to be more useful than a ZPM!)
I also really liked the idea of Atlantis's arrival triggering something else Ancient on Earth, that was great! And I'm not surprised that Rodney somehow managed to blame John for the Chair being destroyed ;)
And I liked too the uncertainty about their future, and how Rodney so desperately wanted everything to stay just as it had been in Pegasus. Glad that Jeannie's happy for him and Jennifer, too :)

I liked the story!! How about a sequel to it, :grin!

Oh, very good Varda! I felt so bad that Rodney lost the chance to study all those ancient artifacts. Poor Rodney.:-( But, he got the ZedPM!:-D I guess that's what really matters, just not at the price Rodney paid to get it. All that whumped goodness!

This was a good fic. Interesting that Atlantis coming back would activate something. I like that Rodney's "dodgey" gene caused him some nice whump. I like why you had Rodney so intent on getting a ZPM too. He "didn't want to go back to being the man he had been". I don't think he would even if they were split up, he has changed a lot but I can understand him being scared about it.

Leave it to Rodney to destroy stuff we could've used all for a crappy ZPM! It would be different if it was for a way to build them or a way to build a better power source but but just something else that will deplete in an unbelieveably short time again was foolish. I used to think ZPMs were awesome but really if they are as short lived as they are in most fics and Atlantis most of the time then, or well just when WE get one anyway otherwise they last for thousands of years while holding back unheard of TONS of water pressure, they actually suck and are only good when used as a backup power source. They our ships use them to boost our existing power but don't rely on them solely. In actuality I think the ZPMs would have lasted far longer than the show and everyone else makes it look otherwise Atlantis would've been powered by far more than just three of them and also had some back up reactors as well, I'm suprised they don't as it is, just in case some of thier experiments got out of control like ours do since that is pretty much all they did. Lets be real those ZPMs should still have at least a 90 percent charge even with the wormhole drive adn honestly more than that. Atlantis was design as a ship and wouldn't be so powerhungry just to do things it was designed to do- I mean look at the Asuran's when they needed to go somewhere they just fired up theirs and took off like it was an everyday thing- and it wouldn't leave it's crew stranded everytime it went out if it was deisgn as a ship. anyway enough of my rants!
