Catgirl, eh? Well as long as she doesn't have the 70's live action batgirl's theme song... ; ) An interesting story. So THIS is what has been keeping you from your other tales. That must mean the plot bee is buzzing somewhere else in your head than it's normal location...

It's good that you said she'd been thinking about an apprentice for a while, because otherwise her taking anyone on would have been harder to believe. Selina's always preferred working alone, and to take in/trust a total stranger on whim - well, she must see something in her.

Keep the schoolgirl outfit as her regular uniform - just have her wear cat ears along with it : )
