When Naraku said "I will give you back your heart, Kagura", I was just thinking, "Okay. He'll insert her heart back into her chest, and then he'll just rip his tentacles into her body and destroy her heart along with her body."

I wasn't totally accurate, but it wasn't too far off the mark, either. Give back the heart. Rip her body apart just enough to insert a boatload of miasma and - BAM.

Death is only seconds away.

Sigh... how cruel.

Very nicely written in conjunction with the event. I wonder - if Sesshoumaru could have saved her with Tenseiga - would he have?

Guess we'll never know...
