Interesting though I feel some trepidation at Autumns still breathing(I've let him go in all of my profiles too but trusting a person who personally tries to kill you is a bad idea in my book.) I look forward to seeing how you navigate around the whole Enclave brotherhood war, and dearly hope you don't demonize the brotherhhod to mch as Lyons branch are generally decent folk who have their own agenda but then again who doesn't.

P.S. If you do need to vilify them for your story you could have a detachment from the west coast show up and wrest control from Lyons as he is off mission. Why you could even have Autumn and the LW run around gather up the scattered Enclave(maybe with some internal power struggle going on as Autumn assumes command) and go to war with the BoS the Super Mutants(Who I would like to point out are a little too organized for being as stupid as they are hinting at a leader maybe a East Coast version of the Master.), and The Pitt Ashur does have an Army of Raiders at his disposal who cold easily decide to raid the D.C. area for much needed supplies and slaves.

This is so wonderful - and original! I've only seen a small number of fics with dear Colonel Autumn in it, and it's always a tiny role. Bravo on thinking outside the box!

Ideas for quests? Bigtown could be fun - the Colonel was made to train troops. Although it's helpful when they know which end of the gun a bullet comes out of. =-)

For the record, I love what you're doing with this fic. I've always had a soft spot for Autumn and you've captured him perfectly. Who is to say that Autumn was killed when you let him go? I enjoyed the first chapter. I've actually never really seen the Enclave as evil, and I really do like Colonel Autumn. I really don't have any criticisms for this first chapter. One I could say is try to make Autumn's dialog southern, instead of saying he's speaking in a southern accent all the time.
