Interesting idea. So I take it that this is set in season two...should be interesting to see how young Harry takes it when Daniel 'dies' in season five... anyway, please continue.

I've noticed that you seem to have done this story 4 different ways but relatives was spelled wrong each time, please fix this it automatically made me not want to read what I'm sure is a very nice story. If english isn't your first language (or is...) a beta is a great idea.

OH WOW far better you have done a great job renewing this story I'm impressed. I look forward to reading how Harry's life will go from here its a great start.

Still needs a bit of refining. But one thing in the first version that is still there that you should fix. You have the flying into Washington, D.C. yet later you say "McGregor Orphanage in New York". Now that is a 3.5 hour drive from Washington one way, 7 hours return. Or add an hour for traffic each way, which could push it upto 8 or 9 hours. Not to mention Vernon being british and driving on the other side of the road. I find such a distance from Washington unlikely. So I suggest you relocate the McGregor Orphanage, to outside of Fairfax, Virginia. It is close enough to Washington to be believable. Plus Virginia is also believable in that the Orphanage is described as "SG1 drove through a set of imposing wrought iron gates to an estate that only could be described as an old mansion and fairly run down." A building a property such as that might be an old Virginia Mansion.

Otherwise a good direction for the story, though I suggest finding a Beta.

You really should take out this chapter now that you've started to post again.

Well I will read this story because I like the deal with SG1 involved but from looking at the other stories you have posted I don't really need to read those because they are the same except the names are changed. Would be great if each story was written for each crossover but so far they all read the same in the beginning anyways. I mean the beginning is word for word the same then it ia abit different for each crossover .. then later it is the same Harry playing and offering a block to Jack or Buffy or Jack. And for the NCIS story "Protector" you posted the chapter for the Buffy story "Chosen Child" this is a great idea but it might be better if you just picked one and wrote that one instead of four that are the same anyway especially since it seems like they are getting mixed up. Either that or make the stories more different from each other.

I was wondering how Jack and his team would be able to help Harry learn magic. From this chapter, though, I can see that they will do better by Harry than Dumbledore. They (Daniel) will be able to teach him languages. Since Latin seems to be the base for the Hogwarts spells, learning it will give Harry a major advantage. Any other languages Daniel teaches him can only be an advantage. Sam can teach Harry science and math which might help with arimanthy, which I think is magical math spells, and ancient runes (also math based I think). Even if they don't help with magic, it will help with the regular world. Teal'c can teach Harry his meditation and fighting skills. In canon Voldemort was able to get into Harry's head. Dumbledore ordered Snape to teach Harry Occulmancy for protection. Snape assaulted Harry, but didn't teach him anything. Teal'c training should help Harry learn the magical skill, and keep Voldemort Snape or the Headmaster out of Harry's head. Jack can teach Harry to fight military style. He can also teach Harry battle strategy and how to be a leader. THEY CAN ALL LOVE HARRY AND HELP HIM BECOME A STRONG INDEPENDENT LEADER AND PERSON. DUMBLEDORE WON'T GET A WEAK PUPPET TO CONTROL. SNAPE WON'T GET AN DEFENSELESS CHILD TO TORMENT. SG1 WILL MAKE HARRY STRONG. Also, since Jack and his friend from the orphanage know about magic, maybe she can help arrange for Harry to get magical training. Hogwarts, and Dumbledore, won't know what hit it!
