you should do a sequel, when they get back together as a team...i am curious to know what happened to tony and mcgee...very curious indeed.

Wow, this one really is quite far from your usual style, and not a pairing I normally read, but you've done a wonderful job of it. You captured both the antagonism and the we'll-never-admit-it affection that make up their friendship. As far as I'm concerned, the characterizations were spot-on all the way through and I am very very impressed. I hope the inspiration strikes you to write these two again!

That was such a cruel, sad time for the team. You captured it well with a very good story. As for this not being your 'realm of experience', catching the heart of the people and having a talent with words is the key. I'm as straight as they come, but slash stories intrigue me anyway. I enjoy your writing.

There are only a very few fics where I can stand to read about DiNozzo in ANY pairing (I normally find DiNozzo so loathsome that I refuse to believe anybody would even want to Be with him in a pairing sort of way.): They are ones in which he (for the love of God!) does not tease McGee in his childish way with those nauseating spit balls AND by authors whose other fics I totally love enough that the aberration of DiNozzo in a paring does not grate quite as much.
"their goodbyes, which ran from long and teary – Abby’s – to terse yet affectionate with a veiled undercurrent of frustration – Gibbs’." - And Ducky's, I presume, was long and rambling, yet affectionate.
"I’ve been the butt of his jokes and pranks since we first met, back when I was stationed at Norfolk." - I'm now watching those early episodes again and God, McGee was cute then, IMO! Though, of course IMO, nowhere near as yummy yet as he was in season 6's "Caged".
"Why do I feel as though I’m losing a part of myself?" - 'Cause you ARE, Timmy!
"warning me not to screw with me." - 'warning him not to screw with me.'
The guy-on guy smut was (as far as I could tell, anyway) good, but the whole of the fic was IMO desperately sad. Did you intend it to be?

This is just wonderful! I love the way you kept them bickering even as they gave in to each other, and the ending was so bittersweet! I hope you'll consider writing more of these two!

I don't usually read this type of story either, but I really liked this one. You did a very good job with it.

I thought you did a great job, and I liked the first person McGee viewpoint, I thought you did that well. Also, the banter was well written and I could SO see Tony and Tim arguing and making out at the same time.

You never thought you'd be writing it, I never thought I'd be reading it. Surprisingly, I found myself liking it...not so must the sex, but the interaction between Tony and McGee. I think you did a pretty good job with the characterization...it's hard to know how they'd really act in a situation like that.

Aw Chiru, that was beautifully written. I loved it. You had just a few spelling mistakes but it was wonderfully sad and sweet and hot.
