Damn, Lady!! You can sure write some great "make up" sex!! LOL...Talk about 'just what the doctor ordered.' Of course Bobbye needs reassurance after discoverning (from Carolyn) what Alex planned --temporary or not--to teach him a lesson. Bobby couldn't rely on anyone for his whole life --it's hard for him to believe that she's there to stay--forever. Glad it worked out --now keep the communication and the luv flowing!! Great chapter!!

This was angsty but then ended with some romance. I loved it. Can't wait for more. Post more soon.

great chapter! bobby was terrific fighting for himself. i agree with alex that it would be way better if he could learn to open up to her more, but she also needs to understand how hard that is for him and maybe figure out some ways to help him do it. no one can reach him like she can, so maybe she can pull that off too. i am so glad to see them happy and together.

Glad you got them to the bedroom, I think twice on the floor would have done Bobby in! They are both so dang stubborn, though. You'd think Eames would realize by now that Maggie knows all. :-) Is she going to have something to say to her mommy about makin' Daddy sad? This was another great chapter!

At last he called her down !! She maybe doesn't realize it but she does just exactly what he fears she'll do, what everyone else has always done to him -- leave. That is his deepest fear and consciously or not, she constantly uses it against him. It's a vicious cycle -- he tiptoes around her and holds things back because he fears she won't accept him as he is and she'll leave, and she gets frustrated and makes plans to do exactly that, which in turn feeds into his biggest fear and keeps the cycle going. And Carolyn needs to be a little more objective about Alex's behavior and not just take Alex at face value sometimes. You caught it all perfectly.

This is a wonderful story. It has been very sad and tense, but this chapter was explosive. I know Alex feels like Bobby shuts her out, and I would hate that too, but it was outstanding to hear Bobby defend himself very forcefully. It was such a release for him. He is right that he always tries to do what Alex wants, how she wants, and when she wants. He has been a rock in her life with Ricky and Maggie before that whole mess was cleared up. She should know by now that Bobby is in this relationship for the long haul. I almost cried when he told her that if she feels she has to leave then just do it, but don't take his children away from him. Heartbreaking. Good for Bobby realizing that sex does not solve the big problems. I have faith in these two. Alex had good insight when she realized she needs to be aware of where Maggie is during some conversations. Maggie is too sharp to make random comments around her and not have them remembered and returned when you least want them to be. Great story. I know there is another story within this story and I am anxious for that too to fill out.

Thank God they made up! I was getting frustrated with Alex, but I'll get over it. :)

Nice story so far. I was really happy to see Maggie stick up for Alex a little. It seems that that little girl tends to have rose colored glasses on when it comes to her father (but, I do too, so I can't really blame her - lol).

i'm glad bobby is finally doing what he is supposed to. his and alex's love should be able to get them through anything. i hate it when they are at odds and the relationship is in danger. maggie is so sweet. it's sad they she has been touched by the marital problems. bobby's behavior regarding is knee is so typically male! he should be smacked n the head for such stupidity.

No, they can't leave and go live with Grandpa. They have to work it out. I hope they do work it out. Maggie is so worried for them. I feel for her.
