minimoosethesecond 2009-12-01 . chapter 4:O excellent chapter as always, i'm still wondering what happened... they're pretty in character, i think. i can see them reacting like this to something so dramatic. well done. ^^ |
 ActionGal07@aol.com 2009-12-01 . chapter 4 Wow, another great update.
I'm kinda wondering when will Squidward and Squilliam get over the whole name-calling and finally get to working together.
I wonder what happened to destroy Bikini Bottom anyway. But I love to see the way that the two octopuse are trying to get along with each other to survive. Neat update. |
Hgmuffin-stuff 2009-12-01 . chapter 4I like how Squilliam insists that everything is all right, while Squidward tries to maintain their usual relationship as a way of regaining some sense of normalcy. I would imagine that when you've had things handed to you, things going your way, for pretty much your whole life, that pretending it's all still okay would be the first life preserver you'd reach for. I liked how Squidward's concern for Squilliam was described - Squidward always finding himself caring or liking when he had no intention of doing so. Not in the right frame of mind for a proper review to do this justice I suppose, but let's just say that it's a very nice interplay between their differing reactions and perspectives on the events surrounding them. |
Mistress Lorescien 2009-11-13 . chapter 3*purrs* I like this. A lot. You should continue it... it's really deep and really emotional. ^-^ Makes me smile for some morbid reason. |
ActionGal07@aol.com 2009-10-27 . chapter 3 I loved this chapter, it has been reread over and over by me cause for some reason it's fun. I wondered how everyone is dead. Sadly Patrick is gone, but I couldn't help but wonder if SpongeBob is still alive? Or could be be lying dead somewhere too?
I loved how Squilliam seem to accept the danger surrounding him, and it was him who was able to comfort Squidward and to remind him that they still needed to get away. I'm dying now to know what happens next.
Like I said, I loved the interaction between Squidward and Squilliam and there will obviously be a bond growing between them. |
minimoosethesecond 2009-10-27 . chapter 3D: no, i think that's a perfectly good reason for them to be OOC. most people would react like that... flipping out and whatnot... D: |
Hgmuffin-stuff 2009-10-27 . chapter 3Oh..I was sobbing. I don't really have much intelligent to say at this point. Look forward to the rest. |
ActionGal07@aol.com 2009-10-21 . chapter 2 It's so funny on how obsessed Squilliam is on keeping his unibrow perfectly grooved. Poor SpongeBob is sick? Probably just a flu bug hopefully.
Squiward and Patrick were also great in character too. I had no idea you were turning this into a story. Sort of. It's still fun to read while I'm still trying to get my own chapters underway. |
minimoosethesecond 2009-10-21 . chapter 2D: two shot? i don't think so. Write more. please? |
Hgmuffin-stuff 2009-10-18 . chapter 1Holy flying fuck. Amazing. I adore this. So sad, and wonderful, and yet it does make me feel better about death in a strange sort of way even as I sniffle for poor Squiddy.
These are my favorite parts:
"Whenever it had all began. Searching for some form of beginning to it all, the crest where everything had spiraled out of control. Gun shots, corpses, and accidental kisses."
Such poetry, such revelation of plot, all condensed into a masterful conveyance of emotional and physical turmoil.
"As far as he knew, he still had a chance, even as he fell out of consciousness, even as his eyelids blissfully fell, closed, comfortingly soft on his face and nestling lashes with tears, streaking clean paths through his dirty skin. A flash of azure on gray."
At this passage, you had me convinced that I myself was about to die. Of course, this conviction, it may have been helped along by the fact that I was a bit sleep deprived on my first reading of it yesterday, but this is such a vivid image.
The sentence structure greatly helps shape the andante pacing that gives life to the progression of this series of events, showing us how it all happens, and when we get to the next sentence, it crystallizes. The tears are not just streaks or paths, but they are a trail painted on, a splash of color with highlights sparkling dimly in a cold and unforgiving sun (this is my particular take of course - everyone can see a little differently, but the image itself is quite clear, much like a painting). |
minimoosethesecond 2009-10-16 . chapter 1D: id squidward just DIE?!?!?!??!! |
ActionGal07@aol.com 2009-10-16 . chapter 1 I gotta admit, while this was perfectly written like always, I didn't quite get the plotline, I was a little confused. Maybe you were a little confused too and wasn't sure how this was going to turn out.
No doubt it's a good story, but I think your still working out the kinks in the plot. Hopefully in time, it'll shape into a real good story soon. |
 Band8PGeek 2009-10-16 . chapter 1Ho. Ly. Fuc. King. Shit.
I'm not going to lie - I died myself at this. It's pretty and atmospheric and creepy-in-a-good-way and wow. In fact, even if you don't decide to continue this it still works well as a one-shot.
Possible Codependency beater? Hard to say yet. But I am totes looking foward to this one. |
