Just stumbled upon this, and it's a lovely idea! I've just watched a couple of the old second Doctor episodes and I'm glad to see a fic for him!

Damn, but I miss Patrick Troughton. *sigh* I know that of the classics Tom Baker was supposed to be the end all and such--and I do love Tom--but I really loved Pat. Naturally since Fate hates me, his were the episodes that the BBC decided to erase.

I suppose by next episode the Lady will have her name shortened to Serena? The Doctor never was one for pomp and circumstance unless it was for tweaking it. :P

From the first chapter, I'm going to make the prediction that he corrupted her past all usefulness as a potential future Gallifreyan President. Good for him!

I've never read the book and probablt never will. But I like the 4th and 2nd Doctors and Romana (and especially the relationship between Romana and the Doctor), so I'm quite interested to know what is going to happen in this story.

i haven't read the book, even though i have it. There is next to no stories of this particular time lady.

the doctor actually got on with her as the adventure progressed, fighting transdimensional aliens, dealing with napoleon bonaparte himself, encountering famous figures such as Nelson and Wellington...and shopping for clothes.
