Well, great chapter, as always. I think this is the best series/story about the Ancients that I ever read. This is just about the only story where I really see the Alterra as a separate race, with different customs, values and a better understanding of life in general, other than just a bunch of humans with high-tech and some metaphysical powers. Keep up the good work.

I was wondering about the time dilation technology. Can't Stevenson go to a galaxy outside of the Ascended Empire and set up a dilation field, so that he can live out a few decades in a few seconds? This would allow him to finally advance to a point where he can stand up against the ascended, or at least get him rid of the constant pain he feels due to his changing body?

Just one thing that does bug me a little, was Sheperd serious about the thee, thou are no longer married thing or was he just messing with Mckay. Thanks for the Mckeller anyway though.

Neat idea using 2012 and the ancint Mayan prophecy as a coverup. And the Aschen are getting themselves in an even bigger mess than they can deal with. Idiots.

Ah. Bre'tak to the rescue. Hopefully he will complete more ships in his fleet soon. That is one more story to the group, great job. Looking forward to the next one.

That ending is hilarious, 2012, I'm still laughing while typing this. Awesome job on this 'episode'; It does now have me wondering if you're going for 20 episodes with a season/series finale. I look forward to more from this series.

2012! That put a big grin on my face. What an interesting way of downplaying an alien spaceship. I can't wait to see what happens with the aschen problem. I can almost imagine a big battle with bratac's new ships accompanyed by some ori cruisers cutting the opponent to pieces. That would be pretty awesome in my opinion!

Wow i dont know how you do it this story is amazing i so wish it could be made into a tv show !! I love the fact that you develop all the races and characters that were left really flat and unexplored by tptb and how all the episodes seem to fit and make sense while sticking with established stargate cannon. I cant wait forthe collumanr to get into it
