The best "origins of 8's loyalty to 1" story I've ever read. Makes you wonder what 8 was thinking when the Seamstress nearly kidnapped 1, and he couldn't do anything about it.
Hint. That would be an interesting story, but it's just a suggestion. I think you could pull it off - heck, more than pull it off.
I'm a bit confused about who exactly 8 is addressing - the world, or anyone and everyone who's ever been disappointed in or made assumptions on him?

i never thought 8 was dumb..just thought he didn't like to think much...like he was impulsive..but it niice to other views..it was really good

Anyway I find this an ironic story, seeing as 8 was one of the only characters who never said a thing in the movie and yet, in here he was very talktative.

It wasn't a weak ending. It was very good, with a second meaning that you have to think about. It wasn't weak at all. I like your take on it. How the Scientist reacted to 8's personality and such was a very interesting option I hadn't thought of before. All in all, I likes it a loot. Great job. ;)_

I felt so sorry for 8 at the start, sent out without even knowing his name, like he was simply being disposed of. Builds a good reason for 8 to have started following 1 in the first place. Good job.

I love it! This is really the kind of story 8 needs on this site-- SOMETHING to give him character, and I think you did superbly.
