Quite lovely! Your characters have such a decidedly realistic feel to each of them. I love it! Oh, and it was such a bother to find the original fairy tale on the internet, but I did and it is a really marvelous one to redo, I must say. Though as I was reading it I kept thinking, "Backroads' is better, her part was funny here, her part was cuter here, Ahh! she needs to update!"
It's so easy to read and cute, I hope that you keep your interest in this one!

Positively lovely! Mimi is fantastic, the idea is awesome, the tone is funny, and Jacob is my favorite. I love sarcastic characters. I also love all the messes Mimi seems to be getting herself into. I eagerly await the nest update.

I think I saw a few spell weird errors in here, nothing too drastic. The squirrel intrigues me, though- it doesn't talk! I guess that's more realistic. I'm curious as to the POV change. I guess I'll have to wait to find out why!
