Hm, I'm interested to see where this story is going. Especially with Tifa getting Cloud, now that's going to be funny. Also curious to see how the characters find out about the whole "Zack being alive" thing, and the Sephiroth issues...this looks like it will turn out very interesting!

I'm not a big fan of 'Sephiroth shows up YET AGAIN', 'Cloud abandons his family YET AGAIN', 'Cloud falls apart and doubts himself to the point of uselessness YET AGAIN' fics. However... however this story actually has me interested enough to want to follow along. You've managed to weave some interesting ideas in with the 'yet again' parts and I'm pleased with the 'you can't clone a soul' answer. Adding Yuffie to the mix right off the bat was a fun read and I sense wheels within wheels turning with Vincent's mystery. You've obviously done your research and you know the FFVII world well which is nice to read for a change over stories that only know the AC version of it. You also haven't made the teeth-grindingly annoying mistake of having Cloud reduce himself to a sixteen year old all over again just because Zack has suddenly shown up to be the 'real hero'. It's nice to actually see adult balance between the two of them. I'll admit, I'm a little bit leery but I'll also be the first to admit, I'm enjoying the story so far and am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
