beautiful. you wrote that brilliantly. i am envious of your ability to keep them both in character and STILL make me wish they were ripping each others' clothing off. i love your literary references and i definitely giggled at the bonnie and clyde reference. something about jane enjoying rap music makes me laugh and blush haha. i like the little parts that reveal lisbon's personlatiy. really good i loved this keep writing!

I love a couple of the lines in this, particularly
So she goes to her priest, now and then, she confesses to him because she values an entity whose idea of justice is more about mercy than punishment.

and(Her team doesn't enjoy her company the way they enjoy Jane's. However, she is inclined to think that they respect her more than they respect him.(She tells herself that it doesn't really matter because they're not Jane and her children and she's never tried to be popular.
I quite liked it. It felt a bit unfished at the end. Maybe not so much unfished as ambiguous. Although it did work with the tone. Still, I can't help wishing there was more.
