Finally someone who gets it I can't stand Twilight. Seriously I know writer's have the right to be creative and have Artistic License and all that but what Twilights author did to vampire's was might as well havenot been vampire's she should have made them into new creature's that had some things in common with vampires or being rlated to vampire but not actually being one. As you said "I do not like Twilight the Series-I don't like the writing, I don't like the characters, and I especially don't like nor do I agree with the themes and concepts the book espouses." RIGHT ON! Couldnot have said it better. So again. Thank You!

Damn, I hate twilight, especially for the reactions people that don't like it have, for example my girlfriend ranting at me for one hour about how she never would accept such behavior for any guy. Till I reminded her that if there was a stalker in this relationship that wasn't me, since I didn't even now her name before she asked me out .
Anyway, a good fic, very funny.

I will fully admit to laughing myself to tears with this piece. I fully admit to having to stop reading at the "Passersby would later..." part in order to catch my breath from laughing to much.

I adore Kushina's reaction to reading Twilight and her (or, shall we say your?) thoughts on the books. I agree with the opinions stated as well. I find the books disgusting and the characters horrible, especially how Bella and Edward run their relationship, it's garbage!

I highly enjoyed reading this and absolutely adore you for posting it. It not only had me laughing but nodding my head in agreement, you did a wonderful job in my opinion.

This made me laugh. I love the idea of Kushina as a feminist - I figure she must have had a powerful sense of self to catch Minato's attention and probably a different outlook than most. She certainly would have needed plenty of self-confidence to stand up to Minato's fan club.

I tend to agree with you about Twilight. I've read some incisive critical reviews of both Twilight and the series as a whole, and it's more than a little horrifying how twisted the social and gender dynamics are once you strip away the vampires, werewolves and supernatural elements.

I also hate what Twilight has done to vampires as a genre. Good!vampires and RomanticInterest!vampires aren't new, but the venom, the fanglessness, the rock-hard skin, and yes, the sparkling... it all combines into one giant blight on the awesomeness of vampires everywhere. It kills me that you can't talk about vampires anymore without someone referencing and/or mocking Meyer's version of vampires. They've entered our cultural consciousness now, and the chances of them going away are microscopic. Makes me a sad, sad panda.

On the plus side, I get to read reaction pieces like this one. I hope someday everyone learns to be as cool as Kushina.
