Very sweet, and I love your detail about Mr. Knightley being her old dancing partner while she was learning. Very well written!

Ah, such a wonderful series.

I also loved this adaptation and the dance scene was adorable! You must write it from Mr Knightleys point of view too

That was REALLY good, and very romantic. I really liked it!
So, you've been watching the BBC adaptation of Emma? So have I! Do you not find it so very enjoyable? I thoroughly anticipate the fourth, and closing, episode which is to come this evening, at nine o'clock.
xD But yeahh, it's really good. I loved it, well done!

Brillinat one, yep. :)

I find it realistic and in character that Emma would begin to feel the stirrings of love and longing during the dance, and not only later on, once her jealousy is piqued as well.

Her endearing naughtiness during the earlier dance lessons is a nice touch.

And Mr. Knightley surely won't mind, though you might, if I put on my word wonk uniform and say that the term "counterproductive" is very second half of the 20th century. However, I cannot think of an equivalent expression for an intelligent Regency maiden to use. Austen must have had something...
