Just found this story now. Good story. It's nice to see another story with Dave and Jeannie in; there aren't too many stories that have either of them in. I liked the fact that this story was from Dave's POV.

I think it would be nice if you did another story with Dave and/or Jeannie in.

Oh, obssess-ed One, you have done a great thing. This has quirk, character, and brilliant plottage. Well executed and followed through. I'd like to see a sequel, but I know real life (and muses) have a way of making that...not happen.

Nice job! I had intially skipped this story, but after reading the reviews, I thought - since you were the author - I'd give it a try. To me, most non-Atlantis stories are not that interesting - though there have been a few I have enjoyed. This one was definitely enjoyable. I love how Jeannie was describing John to Dave without either of them knowing she was talking about Dave's brother. I think the only boo boo I came across was early on when Jeannie asked Dave what his degree was in. Dave said he didn't have one then explained, “My brother was supposed to take on the family business. He took off one day and that responsibility fell on me.” I don't think Jeannie would have asked Dave if he had any siblings just a little bit later when Dave had already told her this info. I think she may have asked if he had any other siblings besides a brother, but she asked him if he had any siblings. Seemed like a boo boo to me. Didn't detract from the story though. I really enjoyed it. Are you going to do a follow up?

I do love stories involving Dave Sheppard (there's so few of them out there) so I was so excited to see one of my fave authors had added to the collection! This piece offered an excellent insight not only into Dave's character but also a different view of John. The bickering between Rodney and his sister was also a nice true-to-character touch. Overall, an excellent story.

Very nicely kept in character even when we've only ever seen one episode with Dave in it. I loved Jeannies description of John, very accurate.

Very good sibling character story! Nice and long, wished it was just a touch longer with Sheppard starting to spill the beans with Dave. Still I really enjoyed it!!
