To me the thought of Miroku leaving Sango borders the realm of impossible, but I'm the most bias one can get on the topic. I wonder how this will play out ...

Much as we all enjoy the frisson of conflict between lovers, the reality is that it doesn't really bode well for long-term relationships if it is too constant. Sango's lack of trust in Miroku, deserved or not, was bound to be a major stumbling block if she couldn't get over it.

It is interesting to see you tackling this head-on. I particularly liked Inuyasha's objective stance - it seems one that a matured Inuyasha would take. Good luck with this.
