viennacantabile 6/2/10 . chapter 1So I thought this was just adorable, and so in-character. I loved the tone—quirky, but not too much and with just enough Lewis in there. I also thought the hints of the future were fantastic, and so well done—not in a way that says "Hey, look at me, I've read all seven books and you haven't, newbies!" I thought it was very accessible and coherent. They were also the perfect mix of British child and Narnian monarch. They are very themselves here, if that makes any sense. And I loved how the conversation gets steadily more serious until that jaw-dropper of an ending. I kind of wish it resolved a little more, since the last line is so unlike what came before, but I also really like the shock value of it, heh. So, in a nutshell: wonderful work! :) |
Kirsten Erin 1/5/10 . chapter 1Great oneshot. I don't know why, but I love Edmund's last question, probably because of the fact that it's exactly what they do. |
Agena K 11/5/09 . chapter 1you're leaving us hanging there and calling it complete? that's like leaving peter swinging in the air above the pond (which was a great scene) but please write some more picking up on the last line... |
Don-Jam 10/25/09 . chapter 1That was good, sweet, funny and just well done over all. That last line was good. I do wish you'd do more on that, no ever seem too, come on, iy was 1300yers from LWW to PC. |
L.A.H.H 10/25/09 . chapter 1Thank you for writing this! The last line was a bit of a shock, but I loved it, although my favourite part was Peter jumping into the water and the muck-suckers. x |
