I LOVED it! It's sweet and honest- very human.

Ironically I was re-reading something I wrote about how some people act more like dolls than like humans. This piece goes with the teme that the ability to feel makes some one human :)

The casual feel of everything and the innocent and playful feeling of this whole story is what made it great aside from the very well done sequencing, idea, wording, paragraphing and use of descriptions for scenes. I enjoyed everything about this, particularly Lars' insights into his life and what its all about nowadays (I especially liked the "Hi, I’m a huge corporate boss, come and shoot me and you might get my company." since it's hilarious in its truthfulness), and finally of course Alisa's childish personality. The end I didn't enjoy much though since it seemed a little... lacking... for... okay I don't really know what I'm saying at this point.

Anyways, great job. :)

This story is nice. I just finished Scenario Campaign on Hard (yes even the Nightmare train stage) and I thought this couple was really nice.

I love the part in the game where Alisa is forced to fight Lars because of Jin and when Lars defeats her (very reluctantly)and they have a cute moment together when Alisa comes to her senses. There she *dies* in Lars' arms, and Lars looks so miserable, all the while Jin was there watching the whole time before speaking the following.

Jin: She was created to protect me. I guess a piece of junk like her was not up to it.

Lars: (whispering menacingly) Take that back.

Jin: Oh?

Lars: I said take that back!

Jin: I see, you actually fell in love with that thing. Pitiful.

I can't believe that Jin would be such a bastard, what would Jun think? Anyway, this story means so much now that I finished the campaign mode and it was really nice. Write another one soon!

I do like your perception of Lars - he really sounds like an honourable man and all that xD I can't wait to play as him in Tekken 6 as I think he's gonna be awesome :P I've seen of vids of him on youtube, and he seems interesting. That’d be me.' - Very ambitious, isn't he? xD It sounds like Jin put him through a lot of shit, especially if Lars has to pick up all the pieces what with all that went on with the Kazama and Mishima rivalry...But yeah, Lars has to act differently from Jin to get the people on his side in order to like him so I can understand people's speculation and whether or not to trust Lars *shrugs* I think he'll be a better boss than Jin personally...'They were the strength in my arms. The strength to lift up the heavy wall to help the dying woman out. The strength to pull through even after getting a bullet in my arm. The strength to get past Nancy-MI847J and destroy the robot. The strength to throw that punch across Kazama’s face. The strength to face Azazel in its chamber, and shatter that crystal orb.' - My God, Lars..you're my new hero! :P Sounds like he has been to hell and back, but he had to in order to save the world as it would seem, lol.

It sounds like Alisa means a lot to him as he is in her gratidude and he done almost everything for her sake, almost like she was the reason behind his actions for all that he went through in order to overthrow Jin and take down Nancy and Azazel. It seemed like she was there for him in his times of peril and she helped him make that final decision :) Aww, I do find his nervousness rather sweet to be honest - I think he wants to make a good impression on Alisa, lol. 'I might be the head of the Mishima Zaibatsu but I still prefer to wear my basic clothes instead of anything that goes ‘hi, I’m a huge corporate boss, come and shoot me and you might get my company’.' - At least that proves he isn't bigheaded and he wants to be acknowledged as someone who is down to earth despite how superior he is as a businessman xD

I love Geppetto - I have no idea why, but he seems like a nice person and he kinda reminds me of being a father figure to Alisa, especially the part where Lars asks if she was there...I love your Alisa - she's such a lovable person! And I love how she started asking questions about his bullet wound and all that, it kinda reminds me of a curious child. I do love the exchange between them and I can tell that he does love her and care about her quite a lot - that's so sweet. Even though Lars is a full grown successful man, in Alisa's presence he is acting like a love-struck teenager who is having his first crush hehe :D And I was pratically smiling when he gave her the roses and also her reaction to them as well.

Not warmth or a beating heart, just the emotions inside. - Okay so that's my all time favourite bit of this oneshot right here :D I mean so what if she is a robot and that she was programmed to do such things and all that, but she has a human side to her as she has feelings and emotions that a normal human being does have. I do like that element to her as I think it's sweet and touching. I really loved the ending and I couldn't help but to laugh when he questions himself about when exactly did he become her boyfriend xD

So feckin' cute. You'd be in for a pleasant surprise actually once you play the game ;).

I love Lars here. He had this awkwardness about him that was very believable and fitting with the mood of the story.

'I don’t even get a chance to answer or comment on her statement, because her hand grabs mine and drags me further into the laboratory after picking up the roses again; and she nervously goes on about showing her new ‘boyfriend’ – when did this happen? – things in the laboratory that she’s been working on with Geppetto, namely the new Nancy.' - *giggles* Oh the imagery!

So nice to see an AlisaXLars oneshot. Wish I could finally see her ending in the game.

A simple, human, poignant retelling of this sweet, bizarre and quirky romance. You wrote it with a real emotional flair-everything was straightforward and honest, and refreshingly pure. I liked the quasi-awkwardness of their chat, as you caught the tentative realisation of Lar's budding feelings beautifully.
