I can see why this chapter took a lot of work. It certainly is hard to write but you successfully managed to deliver. I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere of the limbo you described with all the serenity and purity. It is obviously a refelection of Tru's soul. Though injured, her innocence still manifests in the limbo.
Her trust in Jack is well placed since he is the only one beside her with supernatural powers and therefore the only one who can help her. They are both very conscious of the forbidden romance between them and feel a combination of guilty pleasure and relief.
However, the abuse done to her by Jensen is unforgivable and knowing Tru, I would like to believe it will not go unpunished. I expect she would fight back one way or another and show him that she is stronger and more valuable than to be pushed around and killed. She is not the kind of person who would rely merely on Jack or anyone else to help her. She would fight back.
Excitedly looking forward to the next chapter :D

Oh, what a smart and unexpected little turn of events here! Wow! Can't wait to see what happens next.

whoa :-0...soulless Tru ! interesting:-)) poor Jack - he has such difficult life_at first he starts to reliving days then his archenemy is asking him to help her to kill her soulless boyfriend and then that "dead man walking" is making deals with him ...poor poor Jack :-D

That was great ! I really really like it :-) especially that beginning when they are still enemies, teasing each other but you can tell there's something more to it..ah ..they're so cute together...

Just kidding :D First of all, the title is quite catchy. It bears a lot of meaning and makes me wonder where you're going with this story, because it does imply that there will be a happy ending, as opposed to the sad beginning.
Whose relief is it going to be? And why? Is it because of a successful saving of a soul? Or the conquer of love? Possibilities are all interesting and a mix is even more interesting.
I love how although they still are very aware of each other as rivals as you quite pleasantly stated in the beginning of their secret hide-away, their love transcends that animosity, not only physically, but spiritually too as shown in the 'promise' that Tru makes which clearly shows her trust in him, enough to put her life in his hands in spite of knowing his point of view and his stand on death.
Life puting her life in the hands of death! That should be interesting!

Can't wait to more :)
