PeanutTree 2010-01-01 . chapter 1Whoo. I had to take a moment after reading this. The sentiments in this story echo not only Watson's personal feelings, but also the thoughts of so many soldiers, alone and unsure. Although it was short, it held so much emotion. |
Pompey 2009-10-27 . chapter 1Gasps and smothers Watson in a bear hug.
I think Holmes can find forgiveness, given the circumstances. Because if he doesn't he'll be assaulted by an outraged group of fangirls. Actually, I'd love to see a companion piece from Holmes's pov while the detective waits to hear any kind of news about Watson. . . . hinty hint?
(Is Watson considered (by the army anyway) a traitor for fleeing the doomed aid station? I wasn't quite clear on that point. If so, it seems overly harsh and a little presumptive since Watson says any witnesses are dead.) |
