This is a really sweet story. I don't usually like non-canon slash, but I have to admit that i can totally see Eli and Rush together.

Oh aren't you wonderful! You are, officially my sunshine. I was hoping I wasn't the only one to pick up on the Rush/Eli vibe in the show :) I find it so hard to even think of any plot for a fan fic for a show as new as this one, but I'm glad you produced this wonderful ficlet.
