Why is it that my gut is telling me that there is more about illusion going on with the kids than is actually there. I mean, none of the adults have talked and only the kids have...making me think the adults are doing some heavy duty concentrating and pulling bits of images of other species out if the minds of the group.

Interesting start, caught the reader's attention alright! Waiting for what happens next (and hoping for careful tread of the fine line between Daniel's over enthusiasm & optimism and making him an idiot who still rushes in where angels fear to tread!)

And the curiosity killed the cat...or Daniel in this case. Though, being that he has a lot of extra lives to use...I guess he can't lose. Intriguing beginning.

Really an intriguing beginning, C. Are all the kids shrunken adults? And why? No, don't answer. I'm looking forward to finding out some more in the next chapter!
