This was very interesting to read! I don't like reading smut (I usually skipped over it) but, wow. I was intrigued by the metaphor(s) (...right? Is that what you call those? Or innuedos? LOL D:). I liked how it was short and sweet.

I've been playing cello for a while now, so from a musically inclined person you get a thumbs up on term knowledge. More than a regular person would know. <3 One small critique: When you wrote,"..as the other inadvertently plucked at catgut cords." Did you mean the strings on Ciel's "violin" or chords as in...three notes played at one time? And maybe the usage of trill, since after that you say he choked on a three-note cry. But I think that's me being confused.

A little tidbit of information that I want to share because I'm a boobie and obnoxious as well: Catgut strings are not really made of cat gut. They are made of goat, I believe. Story goes that a man hated a musician and started to spread gossip that the musician shot cats with some kind of bow and arrow and gutted the cat to make his strings.

Sorry for digressing (I haven't seen a fanfic in Kuroshitsuji that had any kind of music in it so I was all excited.) You did a wonderful job and I apologize for having such a long review. 8D;;
