Blue, this may be short, but it's good! I mean, it's true; this is what would happen. All of it. There's so much more thought put into this than what was in the game. I mean, how can you just explain away two years?

I like it! It kind of feels like it could continue, though. But it was well-done. :) You went from every character's POV and how it affected them; I guess Knuckles didn't care much huh? xP Lol. My favorites are Shadow and Rouge's reactions; although I don't favor them as a couple. (I see it as more of a bro/sis type of thing.)

x)... Ahh, hey man. How've you been? I would've been in touch sooner, but you keep uploading all these stories for categories that I've never heard of, so I'm all, "Yeah! I'mma send my main man a great review! Wait, what's this...? Narut...? oh." So then I just delete the alert and go back to my hermit hut. But is it just me or has it been really quiet around here? I haven't been able to find anything on the front page, and nobody's been updating. Maybe everyone moved to... *scoff*... Naruto.

Kay. I haven't actually watched the cutscenes yet for Sonic Chronicles. I've got this really naive thing where I'm worried that one day I might own a DS and end up wanting to play it, but then I've already seen the cutscenes so there's no point. But I've picked up that Sonic left for the two years, so I think I'm set for this story. Great!

I'm not feeling too eloquent tonight, so I'm just gonna say it straight: you're a very good writer. It has this bitter, dark mood that you portray really well throughout, and even the lighter parts (Cream, for example) feel almost... sarcastic, sour. I have mixed feelings about the list format, but I don't really think there's any other way you could go about it without expanding too much.

Every character's section is perfect for them. Tails and Shadow are my favourite, but they're all really well done. It was definitely angsty, but without forgetting characterization. Amy's section, I'm thinking, might be going a little bit too far for my liking... I don't usually care for the full out "I'M SO DEPRESSED!"

Then again, I made Tails eat Shadow once.

I enjoyed this oneshot. I liked the shifting perspectives on Sonic's absence and the reactions of each character. Knuckles's and Rouge's were my favorite.
