I actually came across this story by filtering through old author alerts I never really checked during my "fanfiction drought." I am so, so glad I read this. What a wickedly beautiful story, full of that sort of chest ripping tragedy. Between Hermione's sorrow over Agatha and the doe, I felt like I would cry endlessly. I love this story.
