Sorry i didnt review the last chapter, i was kind of...preoccupied. Anyway, both were amazing chapters although i didnt quite understand chapter 4. The story looks ready to begin its main arc real soon and i can hardly wait. if all of the currently introduced characters are all together the conversations will be very...interesting. I am a huge fan of dark humour and sarcasm so this story is hitting high scores with me. You've managed to weave in a great deal of diversity between the various races and characters and masterfully portrayed the battle scene. I greatly appreciate all the effort that you have put into this story and eagerly await chapter 4. This, despite its current length, is my favorate story at the moment. Amazing, just amazing. This story is very well written, something I would see from an actual writer. I have liked your short stories but this has outdone them very nicely. Please turn your talents to writing novels for every fans sake.

Exquisite. Salt and Lestrade and every character that was elaborated on in this chapter seem to be real. Plus, the syntax and wit ground into the story enfolds the characters and makes it easier for us to relate to them.

Even the Orks are portrayed well and that's harder than it seems. (Trust me, I know all too well.)

Also, I loved how you referenced "Red vs. Blue" and the entire Halo culture in this chapter.

I'm not sure if you did it intentionally, but you still did it and it was glorious. xD

This looks to be an amazing story. Its written expertly, has the beginings of of a good storyline and has a wealth of interesting and differant characters. If the story continues at this standard i would highly reccomend that you send it off to the Black Library and try to publish it as a proper novel. It is honestly at that kind of level. Ah, why is it that drunks are privy to the best philosophizing? Oh, how I wish I had their deep, poignant insight into the greater workings of bricks. If I had italics, I would use them. xD

On another note: you seem to never churn out a bad story, my friend. The first chapter sets the mood and desperation of the campaign, while the second chapter introduces-what I assume to be-the leading cast. Though I certainly hope that there are more. ^^

Also, I love Rat. Almost as much as Wine, but its a toss-up really. I'm interested in this "Polonius" fellow. What gets him wrapped up in this web of intrigue?

Personally, I suspect the Eldar to ninja in sometime in this story, but that's just me.
