I liked this very much. Everything about it was very original and well-wrought. Kaede's youthful playfulness, tempered by her nascent intelligence, Onigumo's seared-in butality, Kikyou's self-enforced detachment - all of them very, very well done. The helplessness and strange jealousy Onigumo feels as his body is shaved of its burnt flesh is particularly horrifying - great job!
