anon 2/9/04 . chapter 1 By any chance, is the title in Hebrew? |
Chocolate Canon 10/13/03 . chapter 1That was such a great story. It made my cry. I think it was really creative of you to tell it from the point-of-view of one of Josh's friends. Great job. The only thing I noticed was you kept using 'had of' instead of just 'had'. Everything else was perfect. |
lunarlanding 2/22/03 . chapter 1You've brought something back to life that was buried, and it's so beautiful. I ache in all the right places. |
thedorkygirl 12/30/02 . chapter 1Wow. You've got a way with writing ... simply beautiful. Very well done. I like your Susan. Next to Geoffrey and Elizabeth!
Oddly enough, I'm writing an original story with Jeffrey and Elisabeth.
Are you Jewish? You know many words. Then again, I'm like ... unschooled in anything. I know no Jewish words and I only learned shiva because of a Judy Bloome book (Wifey? Summer Sisters?) when Kennedy died and the main characters mother sat shiva. "Mother, he was Catholic!" "So a woman can't mourn?"
Or to that effect. It was a few years ago that I read it. |
The Hideous Cheese Mistake 10/8/02 . chapter 1Great story! I think you really captured Josh as a little kid, and the drama went over well. |
Lucy Mars 1/27/02 . chapter 1 *sniff* *sniff* *snifffffff* awww..this is so sweet! I'm all teary now. Beautiful and touching. You write Josh in an amazing way. I can totally picture him acting like that as a child. You should write a sequel of sorts. Like...a present fic that deals with the anniversary of the fire and Susan comes to visit Josh and Donna's jealous...man, can you tell I'm a J/D shipper? I'll go now. I hope you write more! [please ignore all the spelling and grammar mistakes...] *sigh* This is good. -Lucy |
 SkywaterBlue 1/17/02 . chapter 1*blubbers* Omg, so sad...awww...
I like the interesting touches-like Sue's mom being anti-semetic, and the 3rd person point of view of a young Josh...very nice. Creative. |
Joe Mc Ewing's Girl 1/17/02 . chapter 1Ohh..(dabs tissue at eyes)..that made me cry. Is there a way you could continue it? |
Fantasie 1/16/02 . chapter 1 That was wonderful and so sad. |
Katie D 1/16/02 . chapter 1 Wow. Great story. Very sad. The POV was great, seeing things from Susan's eyes made me feel like I was six again. Wonderful. |
88997766 1/16/02 . chapter 1I actually did find myself in tears because the last time that I was
at a shiva I ate grapes like that too.
Very well written and moving.
It's always special to see something like death through an innocent child's eyes. |
 Nomad1 1/16/02 . chapter 1This was really, really beautiful. Thank you. |
 Harper Robedeaux 1/15/02 . chapter 1awwww! |
flamingo 1/15/02 . chapter 1This was beautiful. The simple style was very effective. Keep writing. |
Baked Goldfish 1/15/02 . chapter 1It is very rare that a fic can move me to tears. Great job with this, and that's all I can really say. |
