That was such a great story. It made my cry. I think it was really creative of you to tell it from the point-of-view of one of Josh's friends. Great job. The only thing I noticed was you kept using 'had of' instead of just 'had'. Everything else was perfect.

Are you Jewish? You know many words. Then again, I'm like ... unschooled in anything. I know no Jewish words and I only learned shiva because of a Judy Bloome book (Wifey? Summer Sisters?) when Kennedy died and the main characters mother sat shiva. "Mother, he was Catholic!" "So a woman can't mourn?"

Or to that effect. It was a few years ago that I read it.
