This is such a lovely idea! So creative.

I like the idea of the pumpkins as lanterns for a good cause rather than for the eerie purpose they serve today. And of all the races, I really think you made a good choice allocating Halloween to the Lilties... the candles in the lanterns symbolic of their forging and mining past (and perhaps their fiery temperament), and the fairies that would protect them due to their poorer magic skills.
