I compliment anyone brave enough to publicly submit their writing. However, good writing style and an interesting storyline comes to a screeching halt for me when it includes DANGEROUS MISINFORMATION! Do some fact checking! Putting anyone with a raging fever into ice cold water has a high risk of sending them into shock and can even put them into cardiac arrest! Bones should certainly know that a tepid (near room temperature) sponge bath would be a correct treatment to lower body temperature and that an ice bath is more likely to kill than cure.
