Beautifully written. A simply wonderful story.

Oh, this is lovely. We don't see much of Tousen, and almost never do we get the tour of the inside of his head. We don't see enough of Shuuhei, either, but here Hisagi-fukutaichou is presented in three phases, as it were, and each of them adds a little to our understanding of him. Well-crafted, and exceptionally well-conceived.
