To think I almost missed this little gem of yours!... It's amazing, just about the right amount of angst and funny, the right balance of what is canon and what us fans would have wished for. I love your style, the insights we get when you write those characters, your ideas, the whole set-up! Just... wow! <3

Oh, yes, the amnesia story. I know Superman fans/writers are weary of it. I dispensed it also in my first story. It made for much more interesting storytelling IMO.

I like with you've done here. Makes perfect sense, and for him to finally come clean... made for a perfect ending!!

Very nice! By introducing it as a twist on the SRverse, of course I expected him to take off, not figure out that she's pregnant, so the end was quite a surprise! And I love the closing discussion. Very well done. I kind of wish there was more coming, but then, this ending is awesome, too.

My goodness, I love your stories. What an absolutely fabulous closing line. You paced this beautiful. I was tracking along, it was moving at a decent clip, not much happening but developing steadily enough to keep my interest, certainly. And then, suddenly, it ratcheted up and you were off line a shot, right into that brick wall of a closer. Brilliant. I'd bug you to write more if not for the fact that it's actually blissfully perfect as is. (Shame, really, as I'd love continuation just as much.)

Question for you. What do you read, on your own time? The Raymond Chandler reference was beyond me, and you're frequently adding in allusions to things which are, to say the least, leagues above the type of writing found in these quarters. You've written Lois and Clark as deeply educated, intelligent figures. I love that, but I'm wondering what of your own background/reading allows you to pull that off. Indulge me?

It was one of the best reveals out there and a perfectly plausible way for Clark to find out she was pregnant BEFORE he left. I love your writing and I really wish you would continue and see where this goes. Lois reaction, especially, to not only knowing the truth again but knowing she was pregnant. UGH! LOVE THIS!
