Ohmigosh, I love the conversation between Deekin and Valen. I am positively gasping for air from laughing so hard. I never get tired of that one... :D

Poor Tebimar...I'd be drinking too were I in his place. Between Matron Maeviir, Zesyyr, and Serena, I'm pretty sure he wishes every female would vanish and leave him alone. :D

Serena's song was lovely, as were her musings about her past, and her Anomen. Of course, Valen keeps sneaking into her thoughts, doesn't he?

Heh. The dance has begun, although it would be nearly impossible for Valen not to be intrigued by Serena, a woman obviously as capable a warrior as he is, and and old friend of Viconia's as well. Her past wouldn't much scare him off, either, given his own heritage...

The talk between Sernea and Viconia was lovely as well, revealing her gentler side as she remembers her beloved Anomen.

I loved how you brought Serena's past into this chapter so well. Having Solar intervene and have the geas removed before Serena wound up channeling the Slayer avatar was a nice touch, as well as having Serena wind up in her Pocket Plane again. I do like Cespenar... ;)

Actually, the entire scene with the Halasters was just brilliant... :D

Heh. Imloth and Solaufein just amused me no ends in this chapter. Gotta love those pretty drow boys... ;)

Serena and Deekin are a formidable pair, aren't they? Enserric has to get his two coppers in there as well. The humor in this keeps me grinning throughout.

What I like about this is Serena's sense of humor, and the way she takes nothing seriously, well, except for the undead. She may have reached epic levels already, having whupped Irenicus and dealt with her Bhaalspawn taint, but she is pretty unimpressed with herself, and that makes her likable for me.

This is just plain fun! :)
