I love this story. I haven't read to many Luke and Jess centric stories but you do so much justice to their characters.

The marks were just another piece of artwork that the voices had made her create on his skin to add to their collection - such a stunning visual, dark and vivid. I can picture the creaminess of his skin contrasting with the multicoloured bruises.

It was funny, something that used to hurt him was now something that he relied on the most to assuage his pain - I loved how you made his cig addiction into a release for him. It's almost as if he has found a way to deal with the pain, that manages to keep the memories alive.

Well, I have seen a total of two episodes of Gilmore Girls, and have never really read any fanfiction about them. However, I really liked you charmed story so I thought I would read this one.

Its really good. It seems well-thought out and you introduce the characters nicely. Jess is so sad =( but this is a great story! Hope to read more soon! (and maybe your charmed story too =)

I really love this story - I think you've really incorporated the characters well into the storyline and to me, when I read it, it's like watching an episode of GG play out in my head =].
In Chapter 4, I loved the line: “Good thinking, Uncle Luke,” the boy sneered, making his way inside, “spread the word around so everyone knows how screwed up I am.” Even though it was said bitterly because Jess is obviously a very private person, I loved the honesty in his statement. I always felt that he seemed to suffer in silence in the show and you've perfectly shown that here.
As for Chapter 5: woop! They're back in Stars Hollow! =]=]=]. When the townsfolk were discussing Jess, it made me smile when they talked about how he used to be: an innocent, adorable little boy. They'll be in for such a shock when he finally decides to show his face in town...
And the scars! *gasp*. I feel so bad for him - to suffer at the hands of his mother like that. I can;t even imagine how Luke felt after seeing them.
So thank you for another (two) wonderful chapters! I'm hooked on this story and I can't wait to read more =D. Xx

It cannot be said enough: POOR JESS!

So here's how good this is. The other day I was watching the episode where Jess first comes to town and my immediate reaction was "What? This isn't how it happened! His mom tried to kill him and...oh, never mind." It's kind of weird but some really good stories become more real than the thing that they come from to me and this is definitely one of them.
